Early Learning Centre
Our Early Learning Centre is internationally recognised as a centre of excellence for children from 3 to 5 years of age.
The Centre values and respects children, their families and staff and fosters a learning environment that provides a foundation for young children to become responsible citizens of the world.
A range of learning experiences are offered that foster self-esteem, resilience, reflection, imagination, curiosity and the motivation to become a lifelong learner.
The Centre espouses the principles of global sustainability, recognising the uniqueness of the individual and the value of diversity. The physical environment is welcoming, stimulating, provoking and aesthetically beautiful.
Dedicated teachers, who want to work together as a team with children and parents, means that parents are valued for their participation, involvement and partnership. They are encouraged to share their expectations, thoughts and ideas.
Our curriculum centres on the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning, which has become the benchmark for excellence in teaching young children.
Children participate in specialist programs including Music, Library and Japanese. The children are also involved in an environmental program using the significant environmental resources available to us which includes time with an outdoor specialist.
