Extend at Cornish College offers out of school hours care that is relevant, enjoyable and stimulating. The children are the centre of the Extend program. Programming promotes dispositions for learning, communication and sustainability in line with EYLF and Cornish College values.

Extend’s Before and After School Care programs include a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, team games, sport activities, and more. Holiday programs are run according to a daily timetable that includes incursions and excursions. To see what’s on during the next holidays at Cornish College, please view the brochure and activity descriptions.

In addition to the above activities, the children at Cornish College regularly visit the island on the school grounds which includes an adventure walk through the Fairy Garden, bridge, bird hide, ropes course, and swing. Children also have an opportunity to feed the chickens on the island and collect their eggs. As sustainability is a core focus of the program, children are encouraged to participate in nature-based play and activities.
