Planning For The Future4sure2022-11-18T09:14:00+10:00
The Cornish College Strategy Story – Toward 2030, is an aspirational strategy that focuses on who we are becoming as we move into our second decade as an innovative school. Our story is determined by the choices we make together as a community and connects to the four pathways we will travel to get there.
Our Strategy Story provides information about how Cornish College will deliver its educational philosophy over the coming years.
Through Learning we are becoming a future-ready learning community committed to innovation and unlimited discovery – beyond the textbooks, beyond the tests and beyond the curriculum boundaries.
Through Wellbeing we are recognising the critical role of wellbeing for the sustainability of a learning community and the inclusion of its people.
Through Belonging we are becoming what is required to respond to and be leaders in a globalised, uncertain and complex world. We work together to create social value for public good.
Through Custodianship we acknowledge our commitment to the Bunurong land we gather on and commit to becoming a learning community that will make a difference and be the difference for a sustainable future.
20-Year Master Plan
The College Board has also developed an ambitious 20-Year Master Plan, which outlines long-term improvements for the College to respond to our growing student community and future teaching needs.
These plans outline some of the exciting new developments that will deliver an array of new classrooms, outdoor learning and play areas, state-of-the-art sporting facilities, as well as new performing and visual arts, science and technology, and other specialist learning spaces.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners, the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, as the original custodians of this land who have lived here for thousands of years. We respect their relationship with the land and are committed to caring for this place and those who come here now and in the future.
