Director of Operations

Located in Melbourne’s South East, Cornish College is making a difference today for a sustainable and thriving tomorrow for students from early learning to Year 12. This position centres on the development, coordination and leadership of a broad range of school and community operations to support education of a different kind. The role requires exceptional development of relationships to support the continuing success of the College in educating for a sustainable future.

The College is seeking to appoint a Director of Operations to support the Principal and Executive Leadership Team in the day-to-day management of the school program.

The successful applicant will be someone with the drive and passion to make a difference in our community and the skills to expertly manage a broad range of administrative and organisational tasks in a busy, collaborative and innovative school. The role may be suited to a teaching or a non-teaching professional.

Key Strategic Directions

  • Build upon existing platforms to ensure exceptional organisation, management, efficiency and effectiveness of the College’s day-to-day operations
  • Contribute to the shared responsibility of building school culture as a highly visible and relational point of contact for students, teachers, families and community partners
  • Assist with the development of programs and processes that will enable the school to provide the best conditions for wellbeing, teaching and learning
  • Assist the College in developing exceptional innovative practices through a dynamic approach to all matters of school operations and organisation
