About our presenter
Professor Pasi Sahlberg is an award-winning, international Finnish educator and author who is currently Professor of Education Policy at the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
Pasi explores why play is so important to children, as they discover, fail, succeed, socialise, flourish and is a fundamental element of the human condition. It’s the key to giving children skills they need to succeed – skills like creativity, innovation, teamwork, focus, resilience, expressiveness, empathy, concentration, and executive function.
