Scholarships and Bursaries Program

That’s why we are committed to our scholarships program. It’s our way of encouraging those with drive and courage to explore further opportunities.


The Robert Johnson Scholarship

Applications are now closed for The Robert Johnson Scholarship for Year 7 entry in 2023. This opportunity will become available again for Year 7 entry into 2024 with details to be announced in 2023.  

Financial means are a key consideration in the selection process and families will need to participate in a means test process.


Prep Bursaries (girls only)

Year 1-2 Bursaries

We are pleased to offer a limited number of bursaries to new students entering Prep and Years 1-2 in 2023. The 2023 Prep bursaries are for girls only. The value of these bursaries is variable and will be discussed with families as part of the application process.  The duration of the bursaries will continue through to the completion of Year 6.

All applicants must:

  • Complete the online application in full
  • Provide evidence of age, and Australian citizenship or permanent residency status
  • In addition to the online application, candidate’s families will be contacted with details for how to submit financial statements and tax returns for the last two financial years.

All applicants who are short-listed for a bursary will sit and interview with the Deputy Principal – Head of Primary where families will be asked to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the Cornish College values:

  • Respect, Integrity, Creativity and Compassion. Always with courage.

All recipients of a Cornish College Bursary share the following characteristics:

  • A willingness and commitment to give freely of their time to school events and activities
  • An ability to make a positive contribution to the life of the College
  • A willingness to participate in a range of educational activities

These bursaries provide part remission of tuition fees only and are for new applications only. Bursaries are awarded at the sole discretion of the Principal.
