Teen Chef

A team of four Year 10 students have become SIS Teen Chef Champions by producing two tasty and professionally presented courses.

Our students were amongst 36 from nine schools who took part and were tasked with making a main course and dessert. The competitors made four of each dish, which were judged by four chefs from the Australian Culinary Federation.

The Cornish College team produced a main dish with an Asian inspired marinated chicken kebab and a Mediterranean vegie stack, with a tomato and chilli chutney and a lemon yoghurt honey dressing.

The desserts were individual cherry and chocolate cakes, served with a chocolate ganache, tempered chocolate shards, a cherry coulis and candied orange.

Congratulations to Songkran, Marla, Max and Saskia.
