During the year, our lower primary students Prep – Year 2 participate in a water safety and swimming program, and a junior athletics carnival. All students in Years 3 – 6 compete in our major House carnivals – swimming, athletics and cross country. From here, students are able to represent the College at a district, division, regional and then state level.

During Terms 1, 2 and 3 all Years 5 and 6 students participate in a weekly interschool sport program which gives them the opportunity to compete in a sport of their choice with thirteen other local primary schools. The highlight of the interschool competition is the lightning premiership, a much-anticipated round robin event that occurs at the end of the summer and winter sport seasons. During Term 4 they also participate in a surf lifesaving program at Chelsea Beach. Run by Life Saving Victoria, this wonderful age-appropriate program includes water safety, board and wading activities, first aid and CPR training and beach games.

Students in Prep – Year 4 also participate in swim intensive programs throughout the year, with the Years 3 and 4 students attending a two-week intensive swimming program in Term 1.
