Cornish College is thrilled to welcome Chloe Stevens as our Director of Sporting Programs. Chloe has a wonderful sporting background from excelling in junior athletics to being an Australian coach at the World Championships in Budapest in 2023, whilst working with Australia’s top long jump and triple jumpers.

Growing up Chloe loved all things sport, especially athletics, and excelled in long jump and sprinting, winning numerous national titles and breaking an Australian long jump record as a junior. However an unexpected injury meant the end of her athletics career.

However, she discovered the perfect replacement – coaching. It was the ideal way to give back to the sport that had given her so much. She coached at a number of independent schools whilst studying at university and also became the coaching coordinator at Frankston Little Athletics Centre. Fast forward 17 years and a squad of two has become a squad of 50 athletes who train four days a week at Ballam Park Athletics Track.

Chloe works with athletes ranging from school-aged to those who have represented Australia, with many of her athletes winning state and national titles. She hopes to be coaching at the Olympics later this year.

Chloe is currently featured in the Frankston City Council Frankston City News March-April 2024 Issue

We are delighted that Chloe has accepted this role at Cornish College and look forward to the  passion and commitment she brings as she ‘makes a difference’ to the sporting achievements of our students.
